Dog Door

I am so excited to have a dog door. The 12:30 or 3:30 potty times with the boys of getting up and letting them out is no more. Here are a few pictures of what the house looks like and the livesaver "Dog Door"!

Settling in and Valentines

I am finally settling in in Jade's house. I love being back here on the "bench" and this house. Today I even put my pictures up on the walls. I only have two boxes left, one from kitchen and one from office I need to sort through and put away and then everything else is done. Yea, finally!

Yesterday was Valentines Day and Mary and I decided to hang out since her husband was working and I don't have a Valentine. It was so fun! We went shopping and then to dinner. What great friends I have! While I was shopping I came across a couple gifts for the boys. One was a teddy bear for BoBo, then the other was a little kong for Gussie. Gussie was always getting jealous of BoBo's kong and so I got him his own; however, I did not get a picture of him with his kong, but here are a few of BoBo and his Teddy.
BoBo: Oh, I'm so tired. Mom, stop taking my picture I can hardly keep my eyes open.
Second Picture: Mom, I thought I told you to stop . The flash is so bright.
Third Picture: I love you Teddy. Night Night.

Unpacking

Have you ever moved into a house and still have boxes to unpack and have to go to work? So you leave the mess of boxes laying around to go to work only to hope that when you come home from work, they've miraculously unpacked themselves into the cupboards, closets, etc.? Well, yeah, that didn't happen. In fact, when I got home from my job today, not only was it an exhausting job that lasted for 3 hours, it was an intense job; meaning, I really had to concentrate hard which then makes me tense up and then my shoulders hurt.... but that's beside the point... I come home to BoBo barking outside. I'm thinking to myself, "Self, why isn't he inside the house?" Swear word comes to mind after thinking that ..... yep, I was right.... open the door and find that BoBo had decided to "unpack" one of the boxes. He ended up eating a box of Wheat Thins, a box of jalapeno cheeseits that had been in my old apartment for 6 months and lifted out of a box a bag of rice, practically brand new, of about 5 pounds, all strewn about the floor in the living room and dining room. How can a dog lift that you ask? Yeah, to get to the good stuff... the crackers.

Move Part II

I have successfully moved into Jade's house. The move went very smooth thanks to Scoe and his friend Ken, who is also a professional mover, and Jody (my lifesaver). Now the hard part begins of unpacking and finding a place to put everything. I think I just want to throw things into the closet and garage and shut the doors. It will take some time to unwind, but here is what I'm living like right now.
I owe JoJo big time. Thanks to her, I wouldn't have kept going after getting everything unloaded. She stayed and helped unload kitchen boxes, wiped out cupboards and cleaned my tub -- love her :)
Gussie and BoBo are very excited to have a big back yard, especially BoBo. He is getting reacquainted with the squirrels, who taunt him constantly. It's funny. I'm just excited that I have a dog door again.... if I could just get Gussie to go through.

Moving

So this week is the week I'm starting to pack my stuff and move out of my apartment back into Jade's house. I feel overwhelmed and discombobulated. I hate my house in a ruckus state, but that's just a part of moving. Thanks to Scoe, he packed up my kitchen in a matter of an hour and a half. And let me tell you, he knows how to pack. Here are a few pictures of what I'm living like... you know, in between packing, working, and cleaning.... To be continued........
